Lady's Mantle's botanical name is Alchemilla, derived from the Arabic word “alkemelych” meaning “alchemy”.
At the centre of her soft leaf, she carefully holds a silver drop of dew, produced in the form of tiny drops of water secreted through fine pores around the edge of her leaf (indicating her healing effect on our glands). These then gently roll down her velvety leaf to rest safely in its centre. Coveted by both druids and alchemists, it was used for ritual cleansing and to make the elixir of life.⠀

Lady’s Mantle belongs to the Rose family and as such, stands for the affirmation of feminine rhythms and energy. She is one of the most valued healing herbs for women. Her leaf is like the womb, nurturing the drop of dew resting at its centre. She strengthens our courage to embrace genuine femininity, restoring balance where too much or too little emphasis is placed on womanhood.⠀

Frauenmantel... Umhüllung, Schutz, Schöpfung.
Der botanische Name des Frauenmantels ist Alchemilla, abgeleitet vom arabischen Wort "alkemelych", was "Alchemie" bedeutet.
In der Mitte ihres weichen Blattes hält sie ganz vorsichtig einen silbernen Tautropfen, der in Form von winzigen Wassertropfen entsteht, die durch feine Poren am Rand ihres Blattes abgesondert werden (was auf ihre heilende Wirkung auf unsere Drüsen hinweist). Diese rollen dann sanft über ihr samtiges Blatt, um sicher in seiner Mitte zu ruhen. Sowohl von Druiden als auch von Alchemisten begehrt, wurde es zur rituellen Reinigung und zur Herstellung des Lebenselixiers verwendet

Lady's Mantle gehört zur Familie der Rose und steht als solche für die Bestätigung weiblicher Rhythmen und Energie. Sie ist eines der wertvollsten Heilkräuter für Frauen.
